Procter metal field gates are cost-effective standard agricultural gates suitable for farms, smallholdings and gardens. Our seven-bar field gates are manufactured from steel, with 43 mm top and bottom rails, and 29 mm infill bars. These are all welded to square hollow section (SHS vertical members. Additional rectangular hollow section (RHS) vertical bracing adds strength and rigidity. The whole gate is hot-dip galvanised for long-lasting protection against corrosion.
We stock gates 3ft 9in (1.143 m) high in widths of 10ft, 12ft, 14ft and 16ft (3 m to 4.9 m) for immediate delivery or customers can collect from our depots. Our gates come complete with all fittings, including a spring-loaded latch. Throw-over latches are offered as an option.
To complement the gates, we also stock circular hollow section (CHS) hanging posts and slam posts, with preinstalled fittings. If our fast-setting postmix is used, the gate can be hung in as little as 5 or 10 minutes after setting the post in position.
